Kellie Martin is an American TV and film actress popular for her role as Christy Huddleston on the historical drama series "Christy The 'Christy'' series, Rebecca Thatcher in the family drama 'Life Goes On The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series "ER". Additionally, she's well-known for her role as the lead in The Hailey Dean Mystery. Born to a department-store buyer as well as a teacher in kindergarten, Martin was able to begin her acting career in the age of seven when her aunt, who worked as a nanny for Michael Landon's children, assisted her in landing a guest spot in the 1982 show "Father Murphy.". Martin began her professional acting career when she graduated from Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of parts in both the television and film industries. Besides being an actress, Martin is also a talented photographer and ballet dancer.
